  There is tension growing in the party DP (Democratic Party) as the elections for new party leaders get closer. the current party president who doubles as a minister of justice and constitutional affairs in Museveni’s government Nobert Mao is seeking for the fourth term.  He has been yin charge of the party for the past 15 years. whether he keeps his position or replaced , will be decided during the party's national delegates conference which is taking place in Mbarara city from today Friday . However, his seek for another term has developed mixed feelings with in the party, some members say that he has weakened the 70-year party and should give way for new leadership. Others however say that Mao has represented them well and deserve to stay.
